Automatic circuit reclosers

Arteche automatic circuit reclosers (ACR) are medium voltage circuit breakers specially designed to operate under short circuit conditions. They are equipped with sensors, intelligent electronic devices and communications to protect MV lines and customer from transient faults, isolating faults and restoring automatically the service when the transient fault has been cleared. Reclosers also provides real time critical data about the medium voltage line health, as power (A, W, VAR), voltage (V) or frequency (f) values.

Due to its enhanced capabilities, performance and low maintenance, our vacuum reclosers portfolio enables modern MV Distribution Automation functionalities like FLISR (Fault Location, Isolation and Service Restoration), Load Balance, Outage Management or Automated Reconfiguration Schemes.  The use of recloser improves significantly quality of service and reliability indicators (SAIDI / SAIFI / CAIDI).
