Sustainability in our DNA
We understand sustainability as a change in the way we operate to ensure the creation of long-term value. For this reason, our Strategic Sustainability Plan is framed within a series of environmental, social, and governance objectives that reflect our aspirations in each area for 2030.
Driving the energy transition, achieving local and global changes, while fulfilling our purpose of ensuring universal access to clean, efficient, and quality energy is a challenge we can only face with the energy of our entire team.
Through a letter sent to the Secretary General of the United Nations in 2014, we expressed our commitment to the UN Global Compact and the fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development approved by the UN.
Commitment to the planet
We are a key player in the development of the electrical sector and in the transition to a circular and decarbonized economy. As part of Arteche's commitment to sustainable development, we are dedicated to promoting and integrating a responsible culture with the environment.
In a context where awareness of the urgency of climate change is increasing, we recognize our responsibility as part of the electrical sector to lead the way towards a sustainable transition, aligning our strategy with the Paris Agreement and with the goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050, while driving innovation towards a more circular and resilient industry.
Our partnership with society
At Arteche, we want to be part of the community and generate a positive impact in the territories where we are present. Therefore, we are involved in the social development of these regions through collaboration, financial aid, and local partnerships with NGOs.
Furthermore, our strategy is focused on improving competitiveness through the supply chain, working with both local and globally present suppliers.
We take on the commitment to society and the environment in which we operate, and consequently, we declare our intention to work with responsibility and honesty, contributing to the economic and social well-being and progress of the communities where we carry out our activities.
Good Governance and Ethics
We promote a Compliance culture based on our values, where training and transparency are key to leading by example and being a model to follow. Doing it right by doing good.
Sustainability involves a responsible commitment to people, natural resources, the environment, and the communities in which we operate; compliance is related to respect for the Code of Conduct, laws, and regulations. Both concepts are aligned with corporate responsibility, values, and ethics.
