Arteche RTM38 are three-phase vacuum reclosers designed to operate MV lines up to 38kV, performing modern protection and control functions under most advanced protocols, like IEC 61850 or DNP. Equipped with 6 voltage sensors and 3 current sensors, RTM38 detect transient faults and efectively isolate the affected segments and customer under the selectivity and speed conditions defined for each device (SAIDI/SAIFI/CAIDI).

Their extensive communication capabilities facilitate their remote operation, both integrated in SCADA systems, FLISR, load balancing and other specialized applications in Distribution Automation Systems. Likewise, its logic processing capabilities allow the deployment of distributed reconfiguration algorithms based on horizontal communications, such as GOOSE messages under IEC 61850.
